The story of a photographer

My name is Vanessa Lynette, my close friends call me Nessa. I have been a photographer for 22 years. I have a unique beginning. I was also a Crime Scene Investigator (photographer) for 18 years. My photography journey began when I took a photography class in college to prepare for the Forensic Academy I was about to attend in Southern California. Back in the day of dark rooms and film, is where I learned to use light and composition in the most efficient ways. This influences my style to be journalistic, edgy and positively whimsical!

I am passionate about people and each individual story. I believe every human was made in the Image of God. It is my heart's desire and true joy to seek, find and tell your story through my images. You, your family, your wedding, your event is art. Edgar Degas once said, "Art is not what you see, but what you make others see."
